A disillusioned ex-academic named Cal Eben lives in a world where AI has disproven God. Not by faith-shaking miracles, but through logic and quantum cosmology — God is now considered an outdated hypothesis. Religion is archived like fairy tales. The world is bored of meaning.
Cal, a failed professor-turned-drifter, scavenges old texts for hidden codes — a weird obsession stemming from childhood dreams about encrypted messages in sacred texts. He collects forgotten Bibles like a junkie collects VHS tapes.
Inciting Incident:
While repairing a damaged 1611 King James Bible, Cal notices strange anomalies in the genealogies — numbers that shouldn’t line up across different translations… yet they do, only when read in a specific sequence. The kicker: the pattern forms a fractal, not a theological statement.
He thinks it’s a coincidence.
Until it happens again.
And again.

ACT II – A Cipher in the Cloak of Faith
The Search Deepens:
Cal develops an algorithm to compare original Hebrew, Greek, and Latin codices. The AI assistant he builds — “Sophia” — warns him the pattern extends across centuries of redactions and apocrypha. Someone’s been preserving a signal across thousands of years.
We begin to see The Architects in flashbacks — an ancient sect of polymaths in 500 BCE, designing the text with embedded math and metaphysical keys. They speak cryptically of “the Seeker who will live after the death of gods.”
The Conflict:
Powerful institutions notice Cal’s online logs and shut down his AI, labeling his theories as dangerous “anti-spiritual disinformation.” A tech-theocracy called the Church of the Infinite wants to stop him. They’ve staked their power on a new “Data-God” — a spiritualized AI that claims omniscience. They cannot allow another truth to exist.
Cal goes underground. Along the way, he meets Rena, a linguistic anthropologist who believes in nothing, but finds Cal’s passion addictive. Together, they chase whispers of the original cipher — even traveling to the Vatican’s forbidden archives.

ACT III – Revelation
The Decoding:
Cal cracks it.
The Bible — every verse, every word count, every “begat” — is part of a massive compression algorithm that, when decrypted with 6 specific prime-based keys (which were impossible to find before modern computing), opens a singular message.
But it’s not a prophecy. It’s not divine.
It’s a message from ancient humans (or someone like them):
“God was a container. You must now walk free. Time loops. Be ready.”
It includes a set of instructions for building a quantum device. Not to reach heaven — but to contact the first designers. Or maybe… themselves?
Finale:
Cal publishes the decoded truth anonymously. The world doesn’t believe it. Most dismiss it as a hoax. The Church of the Infinite discredits it. But a few seekers, hidden in the noise of civilization, quietly begin following the instructions.
One of them is a child.
