Living a Life Worth Living is a Life Worthy of Remembrance

Let’s get the dictators out in the open. Pol Pot, Hitler, Stalin, Mao, yes they are remembered, does this make their lives worthy? Plato would have said? I have nothing to base this opinion on. Perhaps the Gadfly had an affinity for tyrants?

Living a Life Worth Living is a Life Worthy of Remembrance

Let’s get the dictators out in the open. Pol Pot, Hitler, Stalin, Mao, yes they are remembered, does this make their lives worthy? Plato would have said? I have nothing to base this opinion on. Perhaps the Gadfly had an affinity for tyrants? Ancient Greece was vastly different then today. Makes you think about ethics and the relative nature of this changing, evolving, life force. I am thinking of a Buddha Board. It’s an ephemeral water paint experience. Both of our boys received one for Christmas on year. Will my children’s Grandchildren remember me? Will they remember you? If so, how? Could we convey emotion, love and even bonding across multiple generations? Tough to accomplish. Easy to think of. This is what I would like to convey, to give to my future lineage. Capturing thought patterns of cognition for playback at some point in the future.
