Or Nothing At All
If you want a guarantee, buy a toaster.
- Clint Eastwood (1930-present)
The titled responsion of this post adds to Clint Eastwood's common sense command to buy a toaster. I say, don't buy that toaster and forego the guarantee and the paper it's printed on. Disposable consumption offers a false sense of security. Virtue ethics should play a part in our daily performances of working together to accomplish a common goal. The teleological ruminations of potential prosperity offer a renewed sense of progress, but first, make sure we all have something to eat! Buy the toaster if you need it, otherwise make a burrito!
