The concept of essential services defines the core of economies around the world and it's this quote from Franz Kafka that points to "food first" as the official party line for the political movement of sustainability. We seem to be at a crucial point in history with consumptive and competitive models of economic activity trumping Environmental sensibilities. This theft from future generations comes at the expense of what we consume over and above our daily ration and nutritional requirements. With the exception of medical and education infrastructure the pathway forward is clearly paved with the fuel of ATP.
